BAG

When I was in San Francisco I bought this terrific book called Me in My Bag, it's great - with photos of people, what's in their bag and text about it (definetly one to read!). And I thought I would do my own mini version, though THIS version is really interesting to look at. So here goes ....

1. UMBRELLA - the weather in England is soo unpredictable, so it's always good to carry one with you. However mine is broken, and always turns inside out, which is never really a good look!
2. PAPERS AND LETTERS - I tend to accumulate loads of sheets of paper in my bag. They are usually printed maps or letters or silly drawings from school, I probably should recycle them or something.
3. MAKE UP BAG - for make up!
4. IPOD - I know it's such a cliche, but I would be lost without my ipod. I accidentally dropped it down the toilet this week, but it's managed to be fixed (don't worry, it was an empty toilet)!
5. CHEWING GUM - Is quite a disgusting habit, but I've become rather addicted to it lately.

6. HAIRBANDS AND CLIPS - Are an essential, my hair tends to get everywhere and these are just what you need for touch ups.

7. MAKEUP - To be honest, I didn't draw all the makeup I carry with me, because I would appear terribly vane. Though my favourites are my benefit stain "posie tint" and my philosophy lip gloss.

8. PENS - Muji 0.5mm are the best ever!!! I use them for drawing, school, sudokus - they seriously rock!

9. GLOVES - to stay warm.

10. LOOSE CHANGE - tends to be at the bottom of my bag.

11. MOBILE PHONE - My phone is really old and out of date, but I've covered it in red hologram tape, so it looks a bit more snazzy.

12. PURSE - I have a huge gold purse, that I got from NYC and I stuck some massive stickers on it, so it has my initials. It contains pretty much everything from library cards to polaroids to HSM stickers (I know the shame!).

13. MOLESKINE SKETCH BOOK - It has to be said that once you use a moleskine you can't be converted back to normal books, I don't know why - but it's just a fact! I love the sketch books best because of the thick pages and lovely rounded corner.

14. OYSTER CARD - London has the most expensive transport system in the world and probably one of the most shambolic ones too! But this card is essential for travelling around town and I would be truly lost without it.

And that is all, for now!

P.S - It was snowing in London when I woke up this morning!

OAVIPS

YO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today I went to visit this old lady who I help read and stuff, and I totally feel that I have to say how much old people rock! They give you cake and tea, and they are sooo down to earth - it's crazy how nice people can be, when you barely know them, she's an absolute darling! I'm really really really sorry for the lack of post, stupid school work, but I shall totally try to get up to at least three posts a week, kind-of thing.

I haven't been up to much, just school, playing records, dressing up, eating, dancing - that kind of thing. To be honest, I'm quite uninspired at the moment, but hopefully something shall come up which will get me going again.
Also, my friend Kathy is contributing in the next zine and she is amazing at drawing - so I think it shall be something special. She used to draw tattoos on me at school, which were most excellent!
