The past few days I have been in Birmingham with the grandparents. I got ever so slightly snappy-happy ...

I remember my Dad bringing home issue 4 of SuperSuper for me to read, when I was like 14 or so and I was like totally engrossed by it all. To my suprise, my Grandparents local newsagent was selling such a hipster-ish magazine, I love how the newsagent placed it between the Futurama and Simpsons comics - classic! 

Then we went to the best shop in town. The Fancy Silk Store! It's really cheap and has a really good range of fabrics. I got a few metres of stuff because I'm off to fashion camp next week which shall  hopefully be fun.

Hilarious!

WEDNESDAY

Afternoon chaps.

This is like the first lazy, bum day I've had this holiday - which is super nice. Last week I was at drawing summer school, which was smashing. The classes really taught me how to look at things and do things in different ways and the way I want to. It was the first time I ever did life drawing and the first model was a 76 year old man but I became accustom to it eventually!

Tunocks tea cakes are my weakness at the moment. I snuck some into the trolley at the supermarket on Sunday and then my friend bought some to my house  on Monday so it feels like I've overdosed on them lately. I wouldn't mind a knitted jumper with the packaging pattern on it - I should ask my mum to get her needles out!

Paper attempts at clothes for the school charity fashion show in September, this was the furthest I got. But I'll try to get some fabric when I'm in Birmingham.

Doubles. Didn't realise I had two copies of "Wake me up before you go-go" in my record collection. Quite tragic!

I was at the Tate Mod today and by the Hayward all the trees were painted in polka dots as part of this exhibition.

Snaps from back when I used to like cutting stuff and snapping stuff. I've been doing some embroidery and beading projects lately, but I haven't come up with a mega good idea. 

School is a bit pointless at the moment, we just sit around pretending to work or going to topshop when pretending to be going to the loo. But SUMMMERRR soon, brilliant!
