If you have been reading the zine and the blog for a while now, you will know that I am a massive I Blame Coco fan (as is my mum!).
My first real 7" vinyl is by her, I remember getting her first single (limited of 500, dontcha know!) when I was like 15 and thinking that I was like the "shizzzle" - but none of my friends knew who she was, so it was a bit of a waste.
So, it's pretty awesome to see this video and to hear that her album will be released on Island records in the new year.
I can tell 2010 is going to be a smasher already!

SUNDAY
Well hello.
I hope you are having a smashin' yule.
Mine has been rather cool.
Saw Holmes at the cinema yesterday which was e-p-i-c.
I really wanted to see St Trinians 2 (because essentially I am a thirteen year old girl), but my parents and my sister were not having it.
Now.
How hot are those orange desert boots?
Yes, very.
I think they are Hobbs.
I saw them in Peter Jones when my Mum was looking for bed lining!
They were like £135 and I've spend enough on boots this month. So, I had to say bye bye - but I snuck a cheeky phone pic!
Also, I got a fisheye camera for christmas.
But don't expect snaps for ages.
Because it's film.
And I know it will take me forever to get round to developing!
Pretty exciting, eh?
Anyone get any cool presents?
Bye bye bye.
more posts very soon...

ps. I was playing nurse to my dad and sister the other day and we went to the Victoria + Albert museum and how awesome is the juxtaposition of henry hoover and the medeival + renaissance gallery?

Georgy Porgy
I'm not going to lie. I am a bit of a dreadful reader, considering I spend an hour a day doing English literature. But, I am romantic and optimistic - I always carry a book in my bag, even if I haven't got as far as page 7.
Kiss Kiss by Roald Dahl, I find especially easy to read (in the least insulting way possible).
Pretty macabre stuff.
Definitely a recommended read.

Hello sausage!
I think I may possibly have a new favourite shop ..... Marc by Marc Jacobs. It's the shit, it's like the pocket money section in the toy department of John Lewis except now you're 17 and yo-yos, temp tattoos and blowing bubbles aren't quite your thing anymore.
Yeah, it's on Mount Street - the poundland of Mayfair. My parents got me the bag above from NYC in the autumn which I love to bits from there, its really fun to stare at on the tube - there's a banana eating itself on it. Today I got a tshirt for £19, a purse for £17 and a pen for a quid!
I had to restrain myself from getting other stuff, but you can get wellies for twelve quid and canvas bags for less than twenty pounds - a real treasure trove. Get down there!
Anyway, I'm on christmas holidays now. My school has had to break up early because it is too cold to learn and we don't have central heating (my school is stuck in the 1950s though!) so that means early HOLIDAY!
Enjoy the snow.

MONDAY
Exciting exciting exciting. Everyone's favourite bi-annual mag + lara stone!
Apologies for the lack of posts, have just been rather distracted. Hopefully I shall come up with some ideas for posts, but everything I think of isn't quite right - if you get me.
Trying to work on the next issue of the zine - it is gonna be a bit different, more wordy, less cutesy. But I have michaelmas exams at the moment, eurrghh.
Saw where the wild things are yesterday, was flippin' ace. My sister didn't like it, but she likes happy endings. I thought it was magical - yes, that sounded cheesy but its true!
So ..... what does everyone want for christmas??
I got what I wanted on thursday .... my braces off! And now I walk around like an idiot showing off my pearlies!
Anyway,
I must eat now.
