I thought it would be cool to start blogging on the go, as I spend a lot of time travelling places these days. And I get too many thoughts to keep track of and when I sit down I forget it all.
Above are two zines I have made. When I screen print them - I make all the artwork on one a1 sheet and then cut it in half to create two single sheet booklets and slip them inside eachother to create a mag. Its a really cost effective way of making things. As the big sheets cost 14p each from Atlantis.
Also I think they make cool posters. If you know me and want one for your room - ask me when you see me and I'll hook you up.

SATURDAY
Started my degree in graphic design at Kingston this week.
Our summer project was to make a blog, so I may as well share it with you www.barbarafrankieryan.blogspot.com - seeing as I have spent time on it.
They wanted us to post our design influences and what inspires us. Plus various other specific things we were asked to do.
Think I'll be posting on that blog more regularly with design stuff and this blog with silly things I like, fashion-y bits and zines.
Sound coool?????

MONDAY
Hello! I don't know how I forgot to mention this and I feel really bad for not doing so. So better late than never ... Some copies of BFR and other zines I have made were donated to "The Paper Cooperative", an exhibition at SpaceX in Exeter. Unfortunately the show is now over. But fortunately it looks like there are more ace shows on soon - check it out here.

FRIDAY
The great thing about satnav is that it can take you anywhere, so long as you know the postcode or the village that it is in. My pa took the fam on a surprise trip to Mad Jack Fuller's grave/tomb/pyrmaid. It is pretty mental. But I guess if you've got the money and are bossy enough you can do pretty much what you want.
