hiya ;-)
Hello! Just going to do a little blog post about what I have been up to the past few days. Today I got back from Rye where I had such a pleasant time with Maria (+ her friends) and Maya. We played lots of articulate, ate lots of cake and drank twinkies (the best cocktail ever - champagne, vodka and elderflower - yum!)
We also visited our friend Sarah Benton's great shop, The Lion St Store. It's one of those shops you just want to buy everything from. Everything there is ridiculously gorgeous! It stocks loads of London names like Tatty Devine, Donna Wilson and my dad's stuff as well as lots of other cool people. Definitely worth popping into if you're in the area.
Also, on Saturday I turned twenty which was pretty cool and such a laid back day. Just eating and cycling and drinking and watching television - ideal day. The photo below is of a lovely collage picture Maria got me and the one below that is a snippet of a mind blowing charcoal I got from my Dad for my birthday. Thanks !!!
Here are some things that I've got over the past week ...
Finally got some gazelles, been wanting so low-tops for a while now. Decided on these guys, as I don't think I'll be speedy enough to get some of the new LibertyXNike collab which looks seriously gnarly. Box fresh, is the only way - right?
Here are some clothes I picked up from the charity shops in Rye. Not to sure about the purple trousers but I'll give them a shot, don't think I've worn trousers for four years - should really get out of that rut! Also stoked for the playboy t shirt, it is naff but I don't care. And the last sweater is just a standard one that is for psychical education, cosy.
When I went to American Apparel last week it was half price on earrings, so stoked up on some blinnnggg. Niiiiceee!
The Gentlewoman is the only magazine I'm really fussed about these days. The narrative voice is so charming, contributors brilliant and layout epic. New favourite on the block for sure!
This is a super mad sailor cork screw from a charity shop in Surbiton. Haven't decided yet if it is great or mental. Maybe it's just mentally great ...
Waaaaa ... really want these Louis Vuitton knickers soo much! Absolutely adorable!
British Design opened last week at the V&A, a celebration of all things British. Visited it last week and it is crazily overwhelming. There are hundreds of articles on display and so many things to take in, but I think it is a really thorough well curated show, would recommend it.
Anyway, I think that's enough to write about for now! So nice to write after such a long break. Any recommendations for next weeks post??

Whoops! Just noticed I haven't posted her in like four months. So I've decided that I'm going to do a one-post-a-week journal here of bits and bobs that I'm up to. A bit more personal than my other blog that I update more regularly with design stuff, which is here. Will get the first journal up soon!
